It took me half an hour to think of a tittle. But screw it......

I have always been enthusiastic about what is happiness and how to obtain it. This curiosity and interest had led me to read several books regarding happiness. I always wondered what is the definition of happiness or maybe there’s no definition for it as it varies from a person to another. Books about happiness also vary from one author to another. So, the question here is what is happiness? Or is this question unanswerable?

Everyone has his or her own way of pursuit for happiness but I came to derive that the difference is the duration and the truthfulness of the happiness. The duration is how long one can feel happy and the truthfulness as in the degree of reasoning for the happiness. What I meant by true is how close does the cause of your happiness relate to your core self. In fact, this two actually correlates each other. The closer the factor of happiness to yourself, the more true the happiness, the longer you will feel happy. Happiness which are gained from external stimuli or condition such as getting a sports car are often short term while internal happiness such as having a good personality often last longer.

In all the books I had read, I took a liking for the ones from Buddhism teachings. Everything in the world (or I should say “almost everything” because I yet to know about everything) tends to return to equilibrium, as the equilibrium is a perfect state of everything. When an extreme arises, it causes changes to its surrounding resulting an opposite force to arise an equalize it. At equilibrium or in Buddhism they call it the middle path, the state where no force opposes each other. It is a state of pureness and calmness with no nonsense, no illusion, no development, and no destruction, which is defined as the perfect state of happiness in Buddhism context. I find this interesting so I put it in practice and see how far can this theory fits in everything. Heat transfers its energy from a medium to another to reach equilibrium; water evaporates to fill in the empty space in the air; too little nutrients in the body will cause diseases likewise too much nutrients too will cause diseases; “If it weren’t British that ruled India violently, Mahatma Ghandi might just be another old wise man in India.” a great spiritual guru, Osho quoted.

One’s happiness can be the cause of one’s suffering. As taught by my lecturer Dr. Cheavens in Positive Psychology class, one of the factors of happiness is attachment or engagement. This is true; with an untrained mind, attachment and engagement are the fundamental factor for self-fulfillment (satisfying the self and feeds the ego). However, this could also be the reason for the opposite feeling of happiness, suffering. In this all-ever changing world, there is one thing one cannot avoid, which is changes. Everything changes in a millions of a Nano-second but these changes are too minute that people disregard its’ existence and kept on thinking that things are permanent and always the same. Clinging on to them and feel happy about the sports car they own, the beauty they have or the power they hold.

As i mentioned in my previous blog:
By this, I am not trying to be a pessimist and I did not mean that these are all useless, what I’m trying to say is, if we could cut away that strong attachment to all these worldly materials, we could feel a different level of happiness which is more lasting and true. These things are there, they can belong to you; you can use it, calculate it, organize it but be conscious and aware when you are, then the strong attachment string will not tie to your soul.[Try this,  when u are overjoy, when Serotonin rushes into your body, when your mouth starts to widen and smile, when you think of nothing but that joy(not even the nail u stepped on..=P) when you lost your awareness about the temperature around you, that sore neck of yours, that homework due tomorrow, that debt you need to pay, DRAW BACK YOUR ATTENTION AND CONSCIOUSNESS.)
Although you will find it less joyful, but this kind of practice is healthy for your mind not to get attach to things that are temporary and unreal sometimes.

Like how i end all my blogs with a quote:
"Some happiness are not genuine happiness, it is a feeling constructed by various lies and illusions of your own perception about the world." - Junior

Open Up The Inner Eyes

I always wanted to post something on my blog when i have glimpse of ideas in my mind.
But it is too brief to actually type it out in a blog.

Lets just start with this,

If u are emotionally extremely happy and joyful because u have a great family, a beautiful girlfriend, financially wealthy, a hot ass sportscar or having a doctorate certificate.....

Please be aware, that they are there for now....or maybe tomorrow...
But trust me they will leave someday, beauty will fade, human will die, car is just a scrap of metal put together with the knowledge of physics, and a certificate is a high quality paper written with alphabetical letters to form words that constructs sentences, and as for money *giggle* you don't know how stupid it is to go crazy for a non-existence trading mechanism with a perceived value in your mind...

I am not trying to be pessimistic upon something, but im just dragging you out of that sleepy comfort zone of yours to take a moment and think...
Yes, I know, to live in this era and society, we cannot just smile and say: "hehe...this money is stupid.. Here, take it..!"
No, it doesn't work that way, and if you do so, you probably sleeping by the roadside next month.
What i'm trying to say is, cut away that strong attachment of yours with all the worldly materials including human beings...
It can be there, in front of you, in your wallet, in your garage, in your bank account, in your room, on your bed ; ) .... you can calculate it, you can organize it, you can use it, you can love it, you can appreciate it, you can sleep with it ; ) ....
but DON'T tie it to your heart... If you do so, each time you loses it, you will feel an uneasy or discomforting sensation throughout your body...
*Let it be.... Let it be......*

Some may call it ignorance, i call it wisdom...
Some may say if you don't get attach means you don't really love.. I call that....bullshit...
When you throw yourself into love, you are no longer a lover, you are a slave to love..
Some view of yours had been blocked, you perceive certain things differently...
Try it and you will know it....

Sometimes i will fall for love and drown myself too... im a human and still learning...
~~That beautiful girl, that latest Ferrari FF, that luxurious house, vacation trip to Las Vegas, first class healthcare for my parents, party with friends...
Then what? I say, dont worry, GO FOR IT.... but be conscious.... aware and realize...
When you are in pure consciousness, that string cannot tie to your soul...

I am just sharing my opinion..... so feel free to disregard my idea if you think it is not logical...

Just like how i end my other blogs with a quote,

"If you wan't to live longer, be more conscious and aware of every single detail in life. Just like when you're aware of the clock ticking, the time is slower and when you're not, life speeds up." - Junior Boy

Common but unknown.

BORRRIIIINNGG NYERRR....
Beeen awhile since i last blog...
You know what, i feel uncomfortable blogging now compared to last time...

Last time i used to blog wateva i feel like blogging FREELY... but NOW...
its like i have to write something i feel is expected from others...
Like..... i wanna act smart in front of my friends like Darren, yen, jord, and others and also i dont wanna lose to that stevo supremo...
Typical peanng boy --> kiasu..

Its like a psychological term called observer bias.... I tend to act according to expectation from others.. What nowadays people call drama...
Not only here, in life as well... not just me... many people does it too... its an inherited instinctive survival act of adaptation *fuhhhhhhh! Darren! Beat that punk!*
i guess = ="...

Dont cha think so? In our lives, things we often do or say are mostly based on people around us..
When you see a HOT CHick... You dont go : Hello there, u are smoking HOt.. Phewit...
You'll probably : *act cool* turn to her then turn away... When she comes near.. U'll try to speak louder to ur friends or crack a random joke.. = ="
(shit, come to think about it, its my tactics.. kinda lame!)
or
When you are in driving in the car with ur mom, you dont speed... and nearly hit something you dont go shouting : Le ma Stupid farker dunno how to drive ar? Blind ar? eyes at buttock ar?
You might say : aww, pity that uncle... i was probably in his blind spot...
or
With your friends, when they expected u as macho and brave...
Things that you probably wont say : I dont wanna go up that roller coaster.. damn scary OR yerrr that toilet has got so many insects...

Try to imagine, if erasing everyone you KNOW or even met before in this life of yours...
What are you?
seriosly, what am i without people around me.. The decisions i make in my life probably different..
*if u realized, i use the word probably quite often*

Everything change every moment, now me and later me is different.....
Different doesn't mean completely different --> Junior A to Steve B .. *NO*
I may have certain preference towards something now, maybe after writing this, it changes....

The reason why i bring this up is, i found out that people are too attached to everything.. (me too)
Thinking that things are always the same...

Word Of The Day - Appreciation.

Talking about appreciation.
Count out how many things or person have u ever appreciate during their present?
DON'T continue reading until you really count.
Not just feel happy about it/him/her but appreciate.

Definition of Appreciation:
  • Recognition of the quality, value, significance, or magnitude of people and things.
  • An expression of gratitude!

I felt sad that as i tried to crack my mind to recall any, i realize NONE.
I may have been happy for their existences, but never appreciate them.
Give a moment for urself to think of something u love the most in ur life going missing or disappear.
May be it a person or an object.

One evening after my bball game, i sat in the car thinking of "someone" that have been with me for so long YET i dont seem to recognize their existence in my life ,died.
CHOiii..... no other intention but just to feel it.
I felt very sad and regret.

But after that... it was amazing...
Since then i start to appreciate people or things that i once owned, still owning, and even those that i have not own...
They are there, ur eyes sees it, but ur mind don't.......
START APPRECIATING everything you have.... U'll be much more happier that way.
Simply by telling them you care for them and appreciate what they did for u.

Comfort Zone

"What we do now, are habits we learned before."
Try noticing every action of your daily routine.
Amazingly i realized mine is a REPITITION.
Yes! derived from the word REPEAT.

When i wake up, the 1st thing ill do is reach to my phone.
Then ill get up and walk to the toilet, using my right hand, i open the door.
And my left hand grabs the toothpaste while my right hand gets my toothbrush.
After brushing, ill pass the toothbrush to the left hand while my right hand collects water to rinse my mouth.

Our human body works in a way that it will use the FASTEST and LEAST ENERGY consuming method to function. It is better known as HABIT.
*its almost every action we made, not specifically brushing teeth = ="

By doing so, we are stuck and blinded in our COMFORT ZONE.
We won't be seeing things as in "WHAT IF".
What i'm trying to say is, when our mind uses lesser energy to function, in conclusion, we learn lesser.
That's the reason why *for right handed people* our right hand is quicker and more flexible than our left one. Imagine if both our hands are as good. Fuuhhhh.. = =" Not only hands, both our left and right brains are working as well...
THEREFORE:
Try doing things the opposite way from what you are doing all this while.
Its kinda fun thou.
As for me, I tried doing things with only one arm yesterday. My left arm.
DAMN... i didn't know how stiff it is until yesterday. Especially when i tried to unzip my bag.

Hmmmm... Talking bout COMFORT ZONE.
To me, it is a very dangerous state of living. When u're in it, u'll never thought of stepping out.
It is important to understand the nature of it. As it leads to no improvement.
When ure out of it, that's when you LEARN.

The Awaken Of Junior.

[Eminem]
Guesss whoooseee backk.... back agaaiiinnnnn...Junior's back...tell a friend....

Hahahaa... it took me 30MINS
to start blogging..
1st - i forgot my password..
2nd - its been a loooonggg time, therefore i dunno how to start a new post.. *yeah go ahead and laugh*
3rd - I got stuck searching for the font sizing.

Anyway. the reason why im blogging again is:
1st - All my friends are freaking blogging everyday.
2nd - It makes me feel outdated.
3rd - My friends says my blog Rusty dy.

Hmm... Actually, come to think about it.. Blogging is actually beneficial..
1st - You get to share articles or links.
2nd - you get to share ur life stories which also works as life reflection which helps self growth in a way..
3rd - You can indirectly "shoot" people... *; ) its not my intention thou*
4th - One of the best part is you get to express openly and freely about what u feel or think. BEING YOURSELF.

Okay. So...
A very good evening to the honourable judges, teachers and my fellow friends. Today i would like to talk about a story call "3 Little Boy".
Once upon a time there live 3 little boy in the dessert which so happen to be Indian, Malay and Chinese (= =)". They lived under a tall tree.. They climb on each other to pluck fruits from the trees in order to survive. As time passes, they grew up. Now, they are tall enough to get their own fruits but these 3 man didn't live their own seperate lifes as they know if they help each other, their life will be more prosper and comfortable. Therefore, 1 man gets the fruits, another man builds a roof out of the branches to protect them from the sun, and another man uses dry leafs to use as matts on the sand.

Actually i want to talk about Malaysia. ==" The country is so beautiful but the people in it is not... Not all but majority..

Can we stay in peace Malaysians? I mean you and I. Whoever you are. Chinese or Malay or Indian. We can sit and chat about so many things that we wouldn't know of. Instead of saying things which are unpleasant to hear or think.
"World peace starts from ourselves."

When will this day come? That if we see each other on the streets or any dark lorong, no matter what race or color or religion we are, we can greet each other with a hug and say : Sudah makan? or Saptti yar? or Chiak Pa Bui?

1♥Malaysia
=))

SEE! WHO TOLD YOU I WONT BE SENDING U OFF..
COME ON..! Don't measure friend with my sleeping time.
hahaaha.. thanks your daddy for the coffee and the advise =)
He is very KNOWLEDGEABLE.

Anyway.. Leonie!! Bye bye =(( gonna miss u.... take care in Canada.
